I’ve finished all of my stories!! My initial plan was to have five of them, but I ended up having a great idea and decided to write a 6th one. I am now in the process of going through each one of them and doing final editions. Also, I designed the cover and really liked what it turned out to be. I began to create the book layout, and it takes time if you want it to look really good. I am feeling relieved, proud of myself.

This week I worked on my fifth story. I didn’t write much, because I had a lot of school work to do. I met with my mentor and we talked about some changes I had to do on the previous story, so I also spent the week working on those.

I finished my fourth story this week and have been working on the fifth one. I only have one paragraph so far, but I really like the idea behind it and I feel like I’m not going to get stuck on the writing this time. I want to finish it soon so I can start editing everything into book form.

I have three stories in total and have been working on my fourth one. I am really excited about it, and feel like I’ve improved a lot as a writer. This week I began working on my fourth story and have three pages already. Writing had became easier for me, and now I can feel a constant flow of words and ideas, something that only used happened on few moments of creativity.

This week I’ve been working on my third story, and my pace has improved a lot. I have 8 pages already and I plan on finishing it by the end of next week. I’ve been also reading a lot, since Shelby (my mentor) wants me to get used to the short-story format; I read fiction books but also narrative guides, which can help me to improve my skills as a writer.
