Title: One Desired Good For Another

Exhibition & Presentation Summary

In my senior project, I looked at the emergence of an early capitalist economic structure in Europe.  The modernizing aspect of the economy in Europe began to roughly take shape in the 15th to 17th centuries.  I researched the rise and integration of the Eastern European Baltic system of trade into a larger world-system of trade. In addition to trying to understand a broader picture of the economic structure of Europe during that time, I incorporated systemÕs thinking and theory.  My project took the form of an extended writing analysis broken up into five essays.
