Title: Remember

Exhibition & Presentation Summary

For my senior project I am memorializing and honoring the survivors of the Holocaust by creating a documentary film and art installation of their personal stories. Although each of the five survivors I interviewed provided different opinions and painful memories of loss, escape, and survival, they all have the same mission as I do: to have people remember. As the last generation of Holocaust survivors continue to pass away, it is so important to remember this historical moment when the Jewish race came so close to annihilation. From their first-hand experiences, I found this a perfect opportunity to record and share these incredibly powerful life experiences.
